I went to the DR yesterday and he says I need surgery still but not as extensive as he thought. He said I have healed well and I don't have much damaged tissue. I will not have to lose my leg or shoulder as he thought I might. But I do have some tissue that needs to be removed. The DR said that the surgery will only take a few minutes and the babies can come with me and I will be able to nurse them right after the surgery. My full surgery cost with meds will be $200.  Mom said we now have $150 in our account. We have an appointment scheduled for my surgery for Thursday October 8th.

The abscess I have is now closed up which makes nursing my little ones much easier and much more comfortable. I can finally have bedding in my cage. I feel more at ease now and I like to come out of my cage more to visit for short periods (as long as I don't see any medicine around, that stuff is horrid!)

 Mom told me today that people have been donating money and we have $125 in our account at the vet for my surgery. She says a lot of people are praying and keeping me in their hearts too. Thank you everyone.

Today is the first day I have felt up to doing this blog thing.  I'm still not feeling well and I am in pain. That combined with feeding 11 babies I'm very tired.  I'm eating more and not losing weight,  I'm not gaining but Mom says that is ok for now.  My babies are doing fine, they are growing fast. I have 6 girls and 5 boys.  Thank you all for keeping tabs on me.....more later.
